has opened its 21st location in San Diego County, marking the second for
owner-operator Michael Gonzales. The Chula Vista West location will offer
dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and outdoor ordering through a walk-up window.
Gonzales, a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University, chose to combine his
passion for entrepreneurship and people development with his career with
Chick-fil-A. The chain donated $25,000 to Feeding America in support of the
local hunger relief efforts of Feeding San Diego. The Chula Vista West
restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program,
redirecting surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and nonprofits
in need. The restaurant will also recognize 100 local heroes making an impact
in the Chula Vista area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a
year.
